As of January 2017, the CDC, ACIP, and AAP have updated the guidelines for the dosing of the HPV vaccine, Gardasil. The new recommendations approve the use of a 2-dose schedule for girls and boys who initiate the vaccination series at ages 9 through 14 years. Three doses remain recommended for persons who initiate the vaccination series at ages 15 through 26 years and for immunocompromised persons.

Hulafrogs Most Loved 2017

Watchung Pediatrics has been named Hulafrog's Most Loved Pediatrician of 2017!

We are thankful for our patients and their families for helping us achieve this honor!

Watchung Pediatrics is proud to announce its certification as a Level Three Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). This distinctive PCMH honor is given to a select number of practices in the United States who meet the high standards required for a medical home including comprehensive, quality medical care, coordination of services and accessibility to our patients.

Patient Centered Medical Home NCQA PCMH Recognition is the most widely adopted model for transforming primary care practices into medical homes. Research confirms medical homes can lead to higher quality and lower costs, and can improve patients’ and providers’ experience of care.

Watchung Pediatrics is honored to be the medical home for our wonderful families. There are currently less than 90 pediatric offices with this recognition in New Jersey, and only a handful in the immediate surrounding areas of all 3 offices.
